This Sunday, a group of talented San Diego chefs will be providing sweet and savory treats for the inaugural Chef-Driven Bake Sale, benefiting the charity, No Kid Hungry.
No Kid Hungry is a campaign from the national anti-hunger organization, Share Our Strength, focused on raising awareness and donations to end childhood hunger in the United States. This year, top chefs from San Diego’s culinary community are gathering together for this bake sale to showcase some of their talent for a wonderful cause! The bake sale admission is $5, and each baked good is also $5. There will also be cocktails available for purchase as you lounge on the rooftop of Hotel Solamar – not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning!
The event is hosted by Bake Me Some Love, a new initiative started by Erin Jackson, one of San Diego’s coolest food writers. Learn more about Bake Me Some Love on their Facebook page, and follow them on Instagram. Also check out the Facebook event page for the Bake Sale here!
